When responsibilities grow
A child changes expenses, how time is shared and mutual responsibilities. This can be a useful point to review existing arrangements together and make responsibilities clear.
Examples to consider include parental leave, childcare, housing costs and possible income changes. A reserve may help with unexpected expenses; the suitable amount is individual.
Review the financial impact of illness, reduced working capacity or the death of a supporting person. Existing entitlements and reserves belong in that review.
Liability, contents, health and other policies may have rules for partners and children. Do not make blanket assumptions; check the specific terms and any required information first.
Examples include dental, hospital or outpatient supplementary insurance. These can supplement individual areas of statutory health insurance, but they do not turn it into full private health insurance. Benefits, waiting periods and exclusions differ.
This content provides general orientation. Situations and benefits mentioned are examples; the specific need, policy terms and individual advice are decisive. It does not state a price, acceptance or cover decision.

That depends on the type of insurance and the contract. Check the exact requirements and any deadlines in the relevant documents or with the responsible provider.
A broad topic and contact details are enough for an initial request. Health information and a child’s personal data do not belong in a public form.
