The results are non-binding estimates for guidance only and do not replace tax, legal or investment advice. What counts are your payslip, your tax assessment (Steuerbescheid) and the terms of your contracts.

How it is calculated

The withdrawal is deducted at the start of each month, and the remaining capital earns interest at the monthly rate equivalent to the annual return. If the returns cover the withdrawal, the capital is preserved indefinitely.

Taxes, costs and inflation are not taken into account. A lifelong annuity from a pension insurance policy, by contrast, also covers a very long life.

Frequently asked questions

Withdrawal plan or pension insurance?

A withdrawal plan remains flexible and can be passed on to your heirs, but it can run out. A pension insurance policy pays out for life. A combination often makes sense – we are happy to discuss this with you.
