What does a one-off investment earn at a given interest rate? Compare simple and compound interest with different crediting intervals.
| Year | Interest to date | Balance |

The results are non-binding estimates for guidance only and do not replace tax, legal or investment advice. What counts are your payslip, your tax assessment (Steuerbescheid) and the terms of your contracts.
With compound interest: final balance = investment amount × (1 + rate ÷ n)^(n × years), where n is the number of interest credits per year. Without compound interest: final balance = investment amount × (1 + rate × years).
The more often interest is credited, the higher the effective annual rate. Taxes are not taken into account.
